Spark

Spark is the only youth empowerment program in the nation with a one-on-one apprenticeship model that engages and empowers middle school youth in their education. Spark arranges professional apprenticeships for students in their "dream job" that are complemented by a leadership curriculum, workshops and field trips. The Spark experience creates a sense of relevance for students, and inspires students to envision their futures and develop the skills and confidence necessary to be successful in life. Spark students have apprenticed in every field imaginable, from alternative energy to public policy, culinary arts to structural engineering.
